Corpus Christi Catholic Church String Quartet Wedding

Andrea and Jose chose Corpus Christi Church for their wedding ceremony.

Wedding planner, Veronica Meyers took care of the music selections with input from cantor Janna Gee. Veronica had a detailed list of the flow of the ceremony which was very helpful and Janna was terrific to work with. She has a laid back personality which is perfect for nervous brides.

Andrea walked down the aisle to Pachelbel Canon in D. This has to be the all time favorite bridal processional! We never get tired of playing it, either. Janna sang “Wherever you Go” for the responsorial psalm.

The quartet played “Panis Angelicus” and “Prayer of Saint Francis” for the unity candle lighting/presentation of gifts. Ave Maria, by Schubert, was the communion song. The recessional selection was one of my favorites, “La Rejouissance” from the Royal Fireworks by Handel. We followed up with “Alla Hornpipe”, also by Handel.
